Team Workshops
These workshops help leaders create the conditions in which better thinking happens.
Drawing on creativity research, collaboration science, and performance practice, they show how leadership is not about directing people but shaping the space in which they do their best work.
The Creative Leader
Leadership begins with the space you create for others to think, act, and contribute.
The Creative Leader Workshop helps leaders strengthen presence, clarity, and decision-making by learning how to create the conditions in which teams perform at their best.
Rather than teaching creativity as brainstorming or personality style, this workshop introduces a practical leadership framework based on the idea that organisations succeed when leaders create the right space for thinking, contribution, and alignment.
Drawing on research in leadership as performance, collaboration science, and creative cognition — as well as methods adapted from professional theatre practice — participants learn how leadership behaviour shapes the environment in which ideas emerge and decisions are made.
At its centre is the Space Model, a framework that helps leaders intentionally create:
- thinking space for better judgement
- conversational space for contribution
- strategic space for new ideas
- emotional space for trust and engagement
- execution space for clarity and momentum
This approach reflects the insight, articulated by Peter Brook, that performance begins when a space is prepared and by Warren Bennis, that leadership is ultimately the translation of vision into action through people.
Participants leave with practical tools to lead meetings differently, communicate more clearly, and create environments where teams think better together.
Ideal for
Senior leaders, emerging executives, client-facing professionals, and transformation leads
Outcomes
Participants learn to:
- strengthen leadership presence in high-stakes settings
- communicate direction with clarity and authority
- create psychological safety without losing momentum
- unlock creative thinking in teams
- lead confidently in ambiguity and change
Creative Teams
High performing teams don’t just work harder they think together differently.
The Creative Teams Workshop helps teams improve collaboration, alignment, and decision quality by changing how they work together in practice.
Most organisations already have capable people. What they often lack is a shared structure for thinking collectively about complex problems.
This workshop introduces the Space Model as a team capability framework — showing how teams generate better outcomes when leaders and members actively shape the environment in which discussion, disagreement, and innovation take place.
Participants experience how to create:
- space for contribution across hierarchy levels
- space for disagreement without friction
- space for insight rather than premature solutions
- space for alignment across functions
- space for forward movement when decisions stall
The approach draws on contemporary creativity research and collaboration theory, alongside performance-based leadership practices.
Instead of relying on facilitation techniques alone, teams learn how to structure conversations so that stronger ideas emerge naturally and decisions gain wider commitment.
Ideal for
Leadership teams, strategy groups, cross-functional project teams, innovation units, and organisations navigating change
Outcomes
Teams learn to:
- collaborate more effectively under pressure
- surface assumptions earlier
- reduce unproductive meetings
- improve decision speed and quality
- build alignment without forcing consensus
